The mission of this Christian Blog
The mission of this Blog is to help adult, young adult, and teenage survivors of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) reach these three goals:
1. Purpose in Life: Biblical resources will equip someone to discover and fulfill their purpose in life.
2. Healing: This Blog will provide Biblical resources on how someone can receive complete healing with God’s help.
3. Freedom: This Blog will explain how to break free from spiritual bondages/strongholds through the deliverance process and other practical methods.
Note: This blog is not limited to helping childhood sexual abuse survivors alone but anyone interested in reaching these three goals.
If you are reading this page and are among these different categories, you are not here by coincidence.
Maybe it took you days, weeks, months, and even years to get to this season of your life. It is the season where you are finally seeking healing, freedom, and purpose. You could have been looking elsewhere but are choosing to turn to God instead. I believe this Blog is the right place to start your journey.
As you go through this journey, you will have the chance to discover the aftermath of childhood sexual abuse. Your family members, close friends, and other people will understand you more fully by discovering the aftermath of CSA (Childhood Sexual Abuse).
We live in a world where people are often misunderstood, and judging a book by its cover is easy. I pray your life will turn out differently as you go through this journey of discovering healing, freedom, and purpose.
Your loved ones will understand more about the expected aftermath consequences found in CSA survivors. They will discover what it feels like to walk in your shoes.
Who I am
As mentioned earlier, this Blog will discuss practical Biblical ways to help people achieve three main goals.
Before we go any further, allow me to introduce myself first.
My first name, “Nadège,” is French and means “Hope.” “Tuyishime” is a Kirundi name (my native language) and means “Praise God” or “Let us give thanks to the LORD.”
“Zoë” has a Greek origin that means Eternal Life. Zoë is my deliverance name, which the Holy Spirit gave me during my deliverance process.
Note: In the future, I will explain how the deliverance process works and how I received the name “Zoë.”
I was born and raised in Bujumbura, the Capital of Burundi, a small country in East Africa. Burundi shares borders with D.R. Congo on the West and South, Rwanda up North, and Tanzania on the East and South.
I came to the United States for College in 2014 and have lived here ever since. Fun fact about me: I speak five languages: Kirundi, Kinyarwanda, Swahili, French, and English. I have the privilege of using most of them almost daily.
My favorite hobbies are hiking in the mountains early in the morning, jogging in the evening, and swimming at night. I started painting a few years ago and enjoy exploring my artistic gift. I also enjoy reading, and my favorite book is the Bible.

Pictures of a few of my paintings
Here are some of my paintings. The first painting below was created following a step-by-step YouTube tutorial, but the other two are my original paintings. The second painting represents my love for nature, and the third represents my Salvation story.

My story
I think some of you might be wondering:
- Why did you start this Christian Blog?
- How did you come up with this domain name?
- What is the purpose of this Blog?
- When did you decide to create this Blog?
Well, I am glad you asked! Starting this Christian Blog was such a long journey. But the Holy Spirit guided me on each step that led me here. Without further ado, allow me to answer some of those questions.
Here is how the journey started.
a. The reason why I started this Blog
The main reason why I started this Blog is because the LORD God asked me to do so. The other reason is that I experienced childhood sexual abuse (CSA). In other words, I know how it feels to experience childhood sexual abuse aftermath consequences. Due to lacking spiritual guidance, it took me years to find Healing, Freedom, and Purpose in life.
Walking in someone else’s shoes might help people better understand the challenges others face. I believe that God wouldn’t ask someone to help others cross a dangerous road they have never walked through themselves. It’s easier to trust someone you can relate to when they walked the same route you did.
So, in a few words, I started this Blog to help others find the treasures I found in Jesus Christ. After searching for so many years, I finally found healing. I am walking in freedom from all the hurts I experienced and have discovered my purpose in life (my calling.)
1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good!
His faithful love endures forever.
2 Has the LORD redeemed you? Then speak out!
Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies. - Psalm 107:1-2 NLT
“Psalm 107” describes how my heart rejoices in all the LORD God has done with me throughout this journey.
Note: I shared my Testimony about how “My Salvation Story” journey went. Feel free to click this link to learn more about it.
b. How I came up with the domain name
I got this domain name, “He Has Already Begun!” from Isaiah 43:19, the verse the LORD gave me back in 2020 when He asked me to create this blog.
The verse reads:
19 For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. -Isaiah 43:19 NLT
You may wonder, “What does it mean?”. It simply means that the LORD God has already begun healing your wounds and turning your life around. He wants you to know that His goodness is in front of you and that He wants to heal you completely.
So, let Isaiah 43:19 remind you that God has already begun working on you. What was meant for evil, God is changing it into something good. Trust God and allow Him to work on you without fighting the process. He will gradually change your life completely.
Here is another passage that the LORD wanted me to share with you:
4 Say to those with fearful hearts,
“Be strong, and do not fear,
for your God is coming to destroy your enemies.
He is coming to save you.”
5 And when he comes, he will open the eyes of the blind
and unplug the ears of the deaf. -Isaiah 35:4-5 NLT
c. The purpose of this Blog
The purpose is to share Biblical resources that will equip anyone across this website to become a true disciple of Christ.
We will share different Christian resources, such as discipleship classes, Christian programs, and books. These helpful resources will focus on helping teenagers, young adults, and adults become true disciples of Jesus Christ.
Note: I wrote an article, “A life worth living and how to discover it.” The article discusses how important one person’s life can be and how it can impact many lives. Click the link above to read more about it.
d. When I decided to create this Blog
So, my calling as a disciple of Christ is to help people navigate some of the challenges I faced in the past. In the past, I had the privilege to help people within my circle of influence. Today, I am honored to be able to reach as many people as possible.
So, here is the story of when I first felt that calling. In 2019, I had the opportunity to participate in a six-month Christian program at my former local Church. The program is called “Celebrate Recovery,” and it focuses on helping men and women who have experienced all sorts of abuse.
People from different cultural backgrounds were part of that program. However, we all had one thing in common: each one of us has experienced one or two forms of abuse in our childhood.
At the end of that six-month program, they asked us this eye-opening question found in the Books we were using as guidance:
“If you wouldn’t fail and money was not the issue, what would you do to make a difference in someone’s life?”
As soon as I heard that question, I immediately understood that my life would be different. So here is what I answered:
“If I wouldn’t fail and money was not the issue, I would like to tell people who went through what I went through that there is a way out! Yes! There is a way out of all the misery they are still struggling with due to what happened to them.”
As mentioned above, as soon as I said those words, I knew my life wouldn’t be the same. I immediately understood that God would use me to help victims of rape (CSA Survivors). And that’s when I had my “Aha!’ moment!”
e. The moment I said “Yes” to God
When the LORD God placed the burden of creating a Christian Blog in my heart in 2019, I initially rejected the offer. Unfortunately, fear took hold of me, and I couldn’t find the courage to say, “Yes, LORD, use me fully for Your Kingdom’s purpose.”
Before I said yes, I would give God many reasons that could disqualify me from this calling. And often, I would ask Him, “Can you please pick someone else instead?”
Around that time, as I was still debating with God, He gave me these three verses as a warning and encouragement:
32 “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven." -Matthew 10:32-33 NLT.
13 There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
-John 15:13 NLT
The LORD God said to me:
“My Daughter, if you ever deny Me here on Earth, I will deny you in heaven. Besides, what’s the point of hiding the treasure you found in Jesus Christ, knowing that thousands of people are searching for it in the wrong places.”
My prayer for you today
In 2021, I said to Him: “Yes, LORD! Send me! I will go wherever you want me to go! Say whatever you want me to say! And tell the world that there is a way out, and His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Because I’d rather lose everything here on Earth than lose You in Heaven!”
I pray that the LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, meets you in the middle each time you visit this Blog. May His Holy Spirit draw you near Him every second you search for the Healing, Freedom, and Purpose in life that can only be found in Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray: May the LORD, the God of Israel, be the main reason why you would read these posts and put into practice what you learned. Amen!
